Code of Conduct

Dome is only a week old, and we've already had two curse words in our comments, so we're starting a code of conduct.

For now, it's fairly short, but we'll add more as needed:

Rule No. 1: Keep it Civil. The comments section is supposed to be a political salon, not a saloon. Imagine you're arguing with Uncle Joe on Thanksgiving and there is a fifth-grader at the table. Comments with curse words will be deleted.

In return, we'll make this promise:

Pledge No. 1: We'll be Consistent. We will not delete comments arbitrarily. We will apply Rule No. 1 consistently among commenters of all political persuasions. We will allow you to re-post deleted comments without the offensive words.

Re: Code of Conduct

I AGREE WITH THE CODE OF CONDUCT. PEOPLE WHO NEED TO USE CURSE WORDS IN SPEAKING AND IN WRITING NEED TO READ THE "TEN REASONS WHY I CURSE". NUMBER ONE IS "IT HONORS MOTHER SO MUCH"
