Clinton answers Tammie's question

Hillary Clinton has answered the first question at NCAskMe.com.

As part of a North Carolina ad campaign, the Democratic presidential candidate asked residents to pose their questions for her to answer on TV.

The first question selected was by Tammie Bright, 40, of Cherryville. A mother of three, she makes truck parts for a living, according to the Clinton campaign.

She asked, "What are your plans on reducing the rising cost of gas?"

In her 60-second response, Clinton says that she would promote alternative energy, invest in research and encourage the manufacture of hybrid vehicles.

The Clinton campaign said it received nearly 10,000 questions through the Web site, and staffers and volunteers are calling back each person.

Incidentally, the only Tammie Bright registered to vote in Cherryville is a Republican.

Re: Clinton answers Tammie's question

Hillary is vetted, she has been a great NYC senator, authored numerous bills, passed a significant amount of legislation, and always gets the job done. She is a hard worker with real solutions to our country's woes. Obama can only sing about the changes he wishes to make; he can't really think them up, unless copying directly from Hillary. Which he seems to do. Seems to do a lot.

Re: Clinton answers Tammie's question

This is such a great idea. Per FFC1304's comment, yes, it would be a very good thing if her staff were to research the state's involvement with each particular question, such the gas taxes they are paying compared to those in other states. If she had even lightly made note of the differences, it would have appeared knowledgeable and classy.

Re: Clinton answers Tammie's question

Clinton forgot to address that NC has the HIGHEST GAS TAXES in the SE! Is she ignorant or what?

Re: Clinton answers Tammie's question

I want Obama to answer the race card question! He seemed to enjoy talking about it to the wealthy San Francisco audience when he spoke about the citizens in Pennsylvania!
