Cindy McCain will be at Lowe's Motor Speedway Saturday.
The wife of Republican presidential candidate John McCain will participate in the NASCAR Bank of America 500 in Concord. She will be the "honorary race director."
This will be her third visit to the state. McCain previously attended a fundraiser in Raleigh in mid August and U.S. Sen. Jesse Helms' funeral in early July.
She has not given an interview to North Carolina media yet.
“You know, with me standing on your shoulder like this……well, we could be a circus act…….we ought to go the State Fair next week and perform…..have you ever met any of the state’s citizens……you know that we got a lot of them….citizens…..all over the state. I’ll bet that you would like some of ‘em.”
Support your North Carolina State Fair. And you know there will be plenty of good old fashioned "politicking" going on out there. Nothing like a state fair and North Carolina politics.......if those Polish sausages don't give you heartburn then the "politicking" will.
Bev is a petite lady but I still don't think the guv should try to put her on his shoulder. The guv ain't no Gov. Arnold and if he tries to pick up Bev..........well, let's wait 'til he's off our insurance.
As the Bev Bird stands on the guv's shoulder she says:
