Dome observed -- and moved away from -- drivers during the Thanksgiving holiday traffic who were enjoying the last days of unrestricted thumb typing while barreling down I-40 at 75 mph.
Other laws that debut Tuesday include new, tighter rules for owners of dangerous reptiles, such as venomous or constrictor snakes. The regulations include, as Mark Binker of the News & Record points out, "plans for recovering dangerous critters that go missing."
