Brad Miller Endorsement Watch, Part Three

From The Hill, a D.C. newspaper:

Rep. Brad Miller, a neutral Democrat from North Carolina, stopped short of advising Clinton to drop out. But the lawmaker said he is more convinced Obama will become the nominee in the wake of Tuesday’s primaries.

"I've expected that more strongly today than yesterday," said Miller in a Wednesday interview.

The primary is over. You can leave us alone now.

Re: Brad Miller Endorsement Watch, Part Three

Representative Emmanuel Cleever of Missouri was quoted as saying that the Obama campaign was putting incredible pressure on African American super delegates to "fall in line" or be considered "Uncle Toms". The results in North Carolina were so racially aligned among African American voters that it is no wonder that Brad Miller also feels compelled to "lean" toward Obama. I applaud his valiant resistance in refusing to call for Clinton's dropping out of the race.

I feel that African American women made a very poor showing indeed and that they should look into how some of the poorest African Americans in the nation live within an hour's drive of that big house their candidate bought with the association of the wife of one of Chicago's more dubious figures. And after they're done doing that homework, they can look at salary figures and see that the difference between an African American man and an African American woman is a lot bigger than between a white woman and a black woman. This race is about GENDER!
