Biden returns to North Carolina

Joe BidenVice President Joe Biden will return to North Carolina next month to deliver the commencement address at Wake Forest University.

His office announced he will speak on Monday, May 18, at the private school in Winston-Salem, as well as give commencement addresses at the Air Force Academy and at Syracuse University, where he attended law school, Rob Christensen reports.

This will be Biden's third appearance in North Carolina in recent weeks. He also met with troops at Fort Bragg last week and was in Eastern North Carolina the week before unveiling new rural programs.

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama have also visited the state.

The Obama administration is paying a lot of attention to North Carolina, which he carried by a small margin in November.

Re: Biden returns to North Carolina

Gosh is one who cannot stand not to make a personal atack against a Republican. I may faint if he actually EVER criticizes a Democrat. And yes I can see gosh back at the original tea Party in Boston saying to the British, "I do not know why they are ruining perfectly good tea?".

Obviously Gosh did not read today's letters to the editor. There were fellow Democrats at these events also and apparently gosh has total disdain for his fellow Democrats as well, Oh Gosh!

Re: Biden returns to North Carolina

Off the top of my head, our Senator Burr and Representative Larry Kissell both went to Wake.

Foxx logistically may have too, but I'm assuming she didn't go to college based on public statements.

Any chance of a group hug for North Carolina's future, or will Burr be busy like he was on his party's Tea Bag Day?
