Berger: Who cares if Perdue signs the budget

The Republicans were doing a victory dance at their GOP convention over the legislature's passage of a veto-proof budget.

"The question on everybody's mind is whether the governor signs the budget," Senate Republican leader Phil Berger told the state convention in Wilmington. "Fortunately, I'm not sure it matters a whole lot whether she signs the budget. Increasingly, she is making herself irrelevant to what is happening in North Carolina.

Hey Bev, there's a horse race @ Belmont this weekend

Hey Bev, are you finished reading about all of the evil in the budget that was passed by the house & senate?  You only have a few more days to decide if you are going to veto it.  Maybe you ought to take a break & have a few more drinks at the Belmont horse races this weekend.
