Berger says he would be a strong Senate candidate

For those of you who like to read tea leaves, Senate leader Phil Berger was sounding a little bit more like a U.S. Senate candidate on Monday.
He told Fred Barnes of The Weekly Standard that he plans to decide whether to challenge Democratic Sen. Kay Hagan by the end of July.

"The opportunity to be a credible candidate for the Senate doesn’t come along very often,” Berger said in an interview. “I feel I’d be a strong candidate.”
