Atkinson, Marshall, Goodwin and Berry up in poll

In the race for Council of State seats, incumbents are showing substantial leads, according to a new poll.

Democratic incumbent June Atkinston was leading Republican John Tedesco by a 44-34 percent margin, according to a new poll by Public Policy Polling, a Democratic leaning firm based in Raleigh.

Democratic Secretary of State Elaine Marshall leads Republican Ed Goodwin by a 41-34 percent margin. Democratic Insurance Commissioner Wayne Goodwin leads Republican challenger Mike Causey by a 41-36 percent margin.

Republican Labor Commissioner Cherie Berry leads Democratic challenger John Brooks by a 41-37 percent margin. The other Council of Races races were not polled,

The survey of 981 likely North Carolina voters was conducted Set. 27-30 and had a margin of error of 3.1 percent.

Anybody's guess..

You failed to mention the LARGE numbers of undecided.  For instance in the Insurance Commissioner race the undecided made up 23 percent!  Anything can happen.  About the only sure thing I see coming is Pat McCrory...he is a shoe in.
