Adam Searing, director of the N.C. Justice Center's Health Access Coalition, was honored by the White House Wednesday as one of 10 “Champions of Change.”
He was awarded for his work in educating the public about the Affordable Care Act.
Searing has worked on a number of issues including keeping health plans and hospitals non profit and community focused, and helping push for expansion of the Medicaid health insurance program.
