ACLU hosts 'know your rights' seminar ahead of Democratic convention

The American Civil Liberties Union wants political activists and protesters to "know your rights" ahead of the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte.

The ACLU is hosting an online webinar Monday at 7 p.m. Panelists include the Charlotte City attorney Bob Hagemann, a Charlotte police department attorney and others. For information on the call, visit acluofnc.org.

For more info about participating in the protests against the DNC go to Occupy Raleigh's forum and ask. You don't need to register. Someone will help you with rideshare, etc.

Myself, I would be mighty suspicious of the chief cop's advice to our side.

It's probably worth pointing out: the ALCU did the same thing for the Republican convention in Tampa--that webinar was held last week at the University of Tampa's Reeves Theater.
