An Ohio-based group that protests abortions by driving box trucks with repulsive images of what are purported to be aborted fetuses on the sides and back is coming to Raleigh next week.
Created Equal plans to display the images in front of the Legislative Building from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. The graphic protest has appeared in Ohio and Florida and in Charlotte this week during the convention.
Its organizer says it is targeting battleground states in the Nov. 6 election. The Raleigh protest will be joined by members of Operation Rescue.
Created Equal is part of a national movement to amend state constitutions to outlaw abortions by defining a human life as beginning at conception.

The pro-abortion group should counter with photos that show
September 6, 2012 - 7:26am — inandohThe pro-abortion group should counter with photos that show the beauty of abortion. I know I would love to see them.
This is completely unacceptable and should be illegal
September 6, 2012 - 7:13am — Jackson_TybeeThis group intends to display its images right by one of the more popular children's museums in Raleigh -- and showing these images anywhere in public is a violation of the right of all parents to decide when and where their children view such images. You can't say you are trying to save the lives of unborm children and then turn around and traumatize living children. These people are despicable and overstepping their right to free speech. I think they should be shut down. They have no right to take away the innocence of children by forcing their images on kids too young to understand what they are seeing -- and way too young to have to grapple with the issue of abortion yet. Shame on them. Once again we have zealots whose concern for children apparently stops at birth.
Exactly.

May be crazy
September 5, 2012 - 8:58pm — viraldocThey may be nuts, maybe not, but either way, wether you support them or not, the images represent the truth of what is happening. People want to ignore the truth by denial and ignorance. I don't like their tactic, but it's their right. People have become experts at changing terms to make something sound better.
Repealing a tax cut = tax hike.
Rich paying their "fair share" = socialism
Abortion = killing babies
Disagree with Obama = racist
It's ridiculous all the name calling going on in politics and the hate coming from the left these days.
???
September 5, 2012 - 6:29pm — citizen782Does this group really think driving around with sickening pictures on a truck will make people change their minds about abortion? They're showboating drama queens out to offend for attention and no more. What a bunch of weak minded idiots.

Seriously...
September 5, 2012 - 6:13pm — CandymintsBeing a woman I feel its my choice and mine only to have an abortion, It's not going to take graphic pictures for my to decide whether I will go through one or not. Society has no right at all to judge me or any other woman in the world what we want to do with our bodies. What about when a woman gets raped? Or if a young girl gets molested by a family memeber? Abortion should never ever be illegal and showing graphic picture just shows how ignorant people can be. Let some decide whats right for them If certain people think its wrong then thats your choice but leave the ones alone that feel its the best choice for them. A better way to put it mind your own business.
equal time
September 5, 2012 - 4:54pm — outhousemouserI think pictures of crack babies, babies abused and beat to death by the baby daddy or its mama, babies left alone in filthy apartments with dirty diapers and no food, etc need equal time with the abortion babies.
There are a few things worse than being born. I just listed a few.
