Try to guess which candidates have the following itineraries Saturay.
Carrboro Town Hall, Morehead Planetarium in Chapel Hill, Durham County Board of Elections, N.C. Central University, Herbert C. Young Community Center in Cary, and Chavis Community Center in Raleigh.
A college town, a historically black college and community centers in urban areas? You might guess Barack Obama, but the answer is Democratic gubernatorial candidate Richard Moore.
OK, one more.
Handy McLamb homestead in Benson, Wilber's Barbecue in Goldsboro, King's Restaurant in Kinston, Greenville home.
Rural homes, a barbecue joint and a Kinston restaurant? This time, you might guess Hillary Clinton, but the answer is Democratic gubernatorial candidate Beverly Perdue.
Dome doesn't know what to make of that, but the difference is striking.

Re: A tale of two itineraries

Just think, if one of the itineraries included at stop at a German-American party for bratwurst and sauerkraut, you could borrow your intro from the author of "Tale of Two Cities," Charles Dickens himself (who visited President Andrew Johnson in the White House in the 1860s):
It was the best of times, it was the wurst of times.

Predictable, I think.
