The Entrees4U store in Raleigh's Poyner Place is hosting a party tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The store, which is one of those places that makes prepared meals that you take home and just pop in the oven, will also be giving away food, cake, prizes and holding a raffle for one free entree a month during 2010.

Memorial Day is coming up, and as you know, there are plenty of deals to be had. I thought we'd have some fun today, so here's my Memorial Day Challenge:

Write a POEM about how you plan to maximize your savings this weekend. The format and length are up to you. Submit it by posting your poem as a comment on this post by NOON on Monday, May 25.

Be sure to include your full name and the town in which you live. Entries without this information will be disqualified.

I will pick a winner and post my decision here Tuesday morning.

The prize: a $25 gift card good at any mall owned CBL Properties, including Triangle Town Center and Cary Towne Center.

I know that seems odd, but those who answer the question could win tickets to the opening Triangle show of Walking With Dinosaurs on Oct. 22. Sounds like a good enough reason to me...
