Well, it’s a mighty fine deals week out there! The pharmacies are busy promoting holiday sales, and Harris Teeter has gone all out to promote its latest initiative involving lower prices on several store brand products and an expanded Unreal Deals selection. There are good deals this week on razors, candy and medications, and there are a few good ones that make the item free after rebate or coupon or both.

And don’t miss the special Walgreens flier in today’s paper, which has a coupon to get $5 in Register Rewards (good like a $5 bill on a future Walgreens purchase) when you spend $25.

Deal of the week: At Harris Teeter this week, Fiber One toaster pastries are three for $5 and there was a 70-cent coupon on Nov. 16. That will double and make those 27 cents a box.

Happy almost Thanksgiving, everyone!!

Well, this is kind of a weird week for Wednesday Deals. Because of the holiday, the sales for Lowes Foods, Harris Teeter and Food Lion all continue longer than they normally would, so there are no new deals for those stores today. The sales for Harris Teeter and Lowes go through Thursday, and Food Lion’s sale prices are good through Dec. 2. I am honestly not sure if Lowes and Harris Teeter will go through the trouble of offering a new sales flier for just half a week. They may. But regardless of what they do, the next edition of Wednesday deals will be next Wednesday, Dec. 3.

All that being said, the pharmacies, Kroger and Target did all put out new sales fliers on their normal schedule on Sunday. So in this post today, you will find new deals for all of those stores. Do note that Target’s prices are only good through TODAY. I presume there will be a new Target flier on Thursday. Also, remember, there are about 250 coupons expiring on Sunday!

Deal of the week: This week I’m going to CVS, where Maybelline mineral power liquid foundation is $8.99 but FREE after $8.99 CVS Extra Bucks instant rebate. More than that, this one can be a money-maker if you have the $3 off any Maybelline foundation coupon from Oct. 26.

Well, happy early Thanksgiving, everyone! Perhaps predictably, this week the grocery chains have gone nuts, offering tons and tons of deals on your normal Thanksgiving items. But, many of the sales match up with coupons, and you can use the opportunity to stock up on items like chicken broth, stuffing, gravy or vegetables. So take a look and see if you can maximize your savings for the next few months by being a smart shopper now!

I should also note that this week, because of the holiday, the sales at the grocery stores do not end on Tuesday of next week. Food Lion’s prices are good for two weeks, and Lowes Foods and Harris Teeter are running their sales through Thursday of next week. That gives you a few extra days to enjoy the savings.

Deal of the week: This week, I really like the Duracell battery deal at CVS. This could be a really good one for the parents out there, who will undoubtedly need batteries for Christmas morning. So here’s the deal: buy $20 worth of Duracell batteries and get $15 in Extra Bucks back via the CVS Extra Bucks rebate program. You can use your coupon for $15 on a future CVS purchase. If you have a few of the 75-cent Duracell coupons from Sunday, you can save even more and wind up spending just a few dollars for $20 worth of batteries.

Well, I’d say it’s an OK deals week out there. Maybe I’ve just been spoiled by all the triple coupons lately! There are still definitely some good ones to be had, including a few that are free after rebate or free after coupon. But it seems like everyone is focused on pushing Thanksgiving stuff.

Be sure you grab the small one-page Food Lion flier out of today’s paper. There were four coupons on there for Juicy Juice, Hot Pockets, Stouffers and Tollhouse morsels. Note that they say manufacturer’s coupon, which means you can use them anywhere and not just at Food Lion.

Deal of the week: This week I’m headed to Walgreens, where Clabber Girl corn starch is 50 cents. There was a $1 off two coupon on Sunday. That would make it two cans for FREE! Who can’t use free corn starch this time of year?

It’s a pretty decent deals week out there, even without the triple coupons at Harris Teeter. There are some good free after rebate items, and Kroger is having that crazy sale where you get $5 off your total when you buy 10 participating items. (See the Kroger section for more details, and an invitation to share your deals!)

As I normally do on triple coupon weeks, I do NOT include triples deals in this list. So everything in the Harris Teeter section assumes regular, normal double coupons. If you want to view the separate list of triples deals, click here.

Deal of the week: This week I think I have to go to Food Lion, which has Bic Soleil razors and cartridges on sale for $2.99. The sales flier rightly points out that this is less than half price. But then there was a $3 coupon for the razors and a $3 coupon for the refills on Sunday. I’ll let you do the math.

Well, let’s see here… Halloween candy is on sale everywhere. Shocking, I know. There are a TON of free after rebate items today, including a couple of L’Oreal moisturizer products. Those things are like $20 each. So if you use them, this is a good chance to get a couple free. If your store is out, be sure to ask for a rain check.

With so many coupons expiring on Friday, there are some deals this week that are only good through Friday. I tried very hard to note when there’s a coupon that expires half-way through the week. Please read carefully!

Deal of the week: This week I’m headed to CVS, where Soy Joy bars are four for $4. When you buy four, they will be FREE after $4 Extra Bucks rebate. Then you can turn that one into a money maker if you use the buy two get one free coupon from the Sept. 7 parade Magazine.

Well, it’s a pretty decent deals week out there… Halloween candy is obviously on sale. There’s a deal at Walgreens where you can pay $1 a bag after rebate and coupons. Harris Teeter is also having some of those great buy two get THREE free sales this week. And the 10 for $10 sale at Kroger has some great deals that will make the items free after coupons. There are also a fair number of free-after-rebate items at the pharmacies this week, and there are even a few deals that can make you money!

Deal of the week: Since Halloween is right around the corner, I think I need to go with the aforementioned candy deal at Walgreens. Buy four bags of candy for $10 and get $4 back via Walgreen’s mail-in rebate program called EasySaver. Then, if you happened to buy all four bags of Mars brand candy (including Snickers, Milky Way, etc), you could use two of the $1 off two coupons from Oct. 12, which would make it a final price of four bags for $4.

OK, Halloween candy is on sale everywhere. I didn’t even bother including it in the individual store lists. I think the best deal I saw as CVS, where you can get two bags of Mars candies for $3, and then use the $1 off two coupon from Sunday. But there are lots of decent deals this week.

Other than that, there are plenty of other deals to be had. I feel I need to mention Rite Aid’s big free-after-rebate medicine promotion this week. There are more than two dozen medical items on sale FREE after rebate. Be sure to check that out since some of the products are like Excedrin, Triaminic and Children’s Advil.

Deal of the week: This week I’m going to go with a deal at Lowes Foods. Arnold 100% natural bread is BOGO (buy one get one free), or $1.39. Then if you have the 55-cent coupon from Oct. 5, it will double, and you will pay 29 cents for a loaf of bread!

Well yay for triple coupons! But even if you’re not headed to Lowes Foods for those deals, there are plenty of deals to be had this week. Halloween candy continues to be on sale everywhere. That’s not surprising. There are also a couple of good free after rebate items this week at the pharmacies. There are also a lot of deals this week where you get an extra discount or a discount off your next purchase when you buy a certain number of qualifying products, so watch out for those.

As is my habit on triples weeks, this list of deals does not reflect any triple coupon deals. It’s just regular doubles. To view my separate list of triples deals for Lowes Foods, click here.

DEAL OF THE WEEK: You guys know I like to pick those deals where a sale, a rebate and a coupon combine to get you a great deal. Here’s an example of just that. At Walgreens this week, Glade air fresheners (plugins, glass scents, scented oil candle refill, carpet & room deodorizer, candle and gel holder) are $1.99. But there’s also a $1 Easy Saver rebate. Then you can use any of a number of Glade coupons from the past few weeks to save even more. The $1 candle coupon from Sept. 14, for instance, would make that FREE, and the $1 Carpet & Room deodorizer coupon from the same day would make that item FREE.

Good morning, everyone! Well it’s a decent deals week. The free razor promotions are back. The Gillette Fusion razor is totally free after coupon and rebate at Rite Aid and then 99 cents in a few other places. There’s a lot of makeup on sale, and of course, Halloween candy. You will also see a ton of pink items in stores this in the coming weeks since it’s breast cancer awareness month.

Deal of the week: At Walgreens this week, Gillette shampoo is two for $10 with a $5 EasySaver mail-in rebate. If you have two of the $2 coupons from Sunday, that would make it $1 for two bottles. Great deal. (Also, check out the Cover Girl makeup deal at CVS this week. One item is free after rebate, and you could pick up a second item free with a coupon. A double freebie on one deal… some weeks, it’s so hard to choose….)
