Fair enough. Sarah over on our Mom2Mom site has started a list of area consignment shops. But I am sure there are others out there.
Please share your favorites and I will see about compiling a list when I get back from vacation!

By the way, Get Dressed is definitely a cool place to shop too. Its located at 600 N. West Street in Raleigh just one block parallel to Glenwood Avenue.
I've heard great reviews about Annie's Attic in downtown Cary. I haven't been there myself yet, but I plan on checking it out soon!
My wife likes the Stock Exchange in Chapel Hill, in the Falconbridge Shopping Center off of Hwy. 54.
Two great boutique-like consignment shops in Downtown Raleigh, come to mind.
Get Dressed is a pretty cool one that will take you back to the 80's. It did for me with the music they were playing when I was looking around.
Revolver is a great designer boutique you might want to visit. They have jeans, cute tops, dresses, skirts, jackets, and shoes from many designers.
Passage Consignment on Wake Forest Road is huge! I just took clothes there last week, and the staff was extremely friendly and organized. They have shoes, men, women, chidren's clothes, household items, jewelry, and bags.
I really like Angie's Attic at Spring Forest and Atlantic Springs in Raleigh! Or I have the most luck and fun at the Goodwill locations. Love rummaging around finding a deal on something I really don't need.
Revolver Consignment on Glenwood South. Mens and womens clothes, high end, retro and vintage finds, shoes, awesome jewelry and accessories, TONS of jeans. They even get "new" things from local boutiques with the tags still on, and mark them down drastically. Might be from last season, but who cares?
Also, it's a really cool space. It's upstairs, so look for their sign on the sidewalk, across from Turkish Delights.
There is a shop in Oak Park Shopping center that has "booths" for antiques, etc., and some clothing. There is a rack dedicated to Chico clothes.
I needed a long dress for a wedding recently and I refuse to pay the prices that the bridal shops charge. I found the perfect dress at this consignment shop in Cary and the new tags were still on it, so I assume it was off of a rack that didn't sell. The shop is Gorgeous Gowns and Wedding Dresses at 124-D SW Maynard in Cary, 468-9227.

Kid to Kid in Apex (Beaver Creek) is one of my favs. This past weekend they had a fill a bag (ok, it was small but still) with clearance items for $10. I got 17 pieces of kids summer wear for next year. That's a great deal.
I also like My Girlfriends Closet in DT Apex for ladies consignment...but they can be pretty hit and miss.
I wish there were, or I knew of, more consignment shops for ladies clothing. Plenty of kids consignment shops.

I like Around Again in Raleigh. They have stuff for everyone in the family, so it's convenient for me to shop there. Lots ladies clothes, and a really good plus selection. I've found some really beautiful high-end stuff, some still with tags on it, for a steal. Definately worth visiting.
