This week, think pink and orange. The arrival of fall has brought the annual onslaught of Halloween merchandise and pink products for Breast Cancer Awareness month.
There are lots of deals involving Procter & Gamble this week, which is great timing since we just had a new P&G Brandsaver coupon insert on Sunday.

Deal of the week: Even though there are half a dozen items that are FREE after Walgreens Register Rewards rebate this week, I have to go with the deal on Fusion razors, which is actually a money maker this week. Buy one razor for $8.99, get a $6 Register Rewards rebate when you check out (good to use on a future order). Then use the $4 coupon from Sunday to MAKE $1.01. Great deal.

At Lowes Foods (These prices good through Tuesday, Oct. 6):
*Bounty single roll paper towels are $1.79 and there was a 25-cent coupon on Sunday.
*Puffs tissues are $1 a box and you can use the 25 cents off three coupon from Sunday to get three for $2.50 after the coupon doubles.
*Oscar Mayer sliced bacon is BOGO, buy one get one free, two for $5.49, and you can use the $1.50 off two coupon from Aug. 30.
*Yoplait yogurt cups are 50 cents and there was a 40 cents off six coupon on Sept. 13 that will double.
*Trop 50 orange juice is two for $5 and you can use the $1 off two coupon from Sept. 13 to make that two for $4.
*Country Crock spread is $2 and there was a 30-cent coupon on Sept. 20 that will double to make that $1.40.
*Betty Crocker fruit snacks are BOGO and there was a 50 cents off two coupon on Sept. 13 that will double.
*Fiber One chewy bars are $2.50 and there was a 40-cent coupon on Sept. 13 that will double.
*Aunt Jemima pancake mix is $2 and there was a $1 off two coupon on Aug. 30.
*Betty Crocker muffin mix is $2 and there was a 75 cents off two coupon on Aug. 23 that will double to make it two for $2.50.
*Progresso soups are $1.25 and there was a 50 cents off two coupon on Sept. 13 that will double.
At Harris Teeter (prices good through Tuesday, Oct. 6):
*The E-vic special this week for members of the E-vic newsletter (Free to join!) is a can of Chunky soup for 88 cents. It’s limit one, but if you combine that with the 75 cents off four coupon from Sept. 20 and buy the three other cans at regular price, it will all work out to $3.88 for four cans.
*Harris Teeter is having a 10 for 10 sale on some of its private label items, including tissues, canned chicken, three liter bottles of water and pasta.
*Listerine mouthwash is $3.99 and there have been a bunch of Listerine coupons over the year. If you have the 50-cent coupon from April 26 or June 14, that will double to make that $2.99.
*Campbell’s Select Harvest soups are two for $3 and there was a 40 cents off two coupon on Sept. 13 that will double.
*Quaker chewy bars are $2.50 and there was a 75 cents off two coupon on Aug. 30 that will double.
*Welch’s juice is $3 and there was a 75-cent coupon on Aug. 16 that will double to cut the price in half.

At Food Lion this week (prices good through Tuesday, Oct. 6):
*Food Lion is having a three-day sale this week, starting Friday at 8 a.m. There are a couple of good deals, the best being BOGO Kraft shredded or chunk cheese and $1.99 Edy’s ice cream.
*There are also some good baby deals as Food Lion is trying to promote its Baby Steps program (they issue coupons sometimes, you should sign up if you have a baby). This week, Huggies jumbo diapers or training pants are $8.77, and Gerber Graduates and 2nd Foods are $1 each.
*Campbell’s condensed chicken noodle or tomato soups are 59 cents each and there was a 40 cents off four coupon on Sept. 13.
*Folgers coffee is $2.50 and there was a 25-cent coupon on Sept. 20.
*Progresso soups are three for $4 and there was a 50 cents off two coupon on Sept. 13.
*Freschetta pizzas are $3.99 and there was a $1 coupon on Sept. 13.
*Pillsbury Toaster strudel are $2 and there was a 55 cents off two coupon on Sept. 13.
*Country Crock is $1.50 and there was a 30-cent coupon on Sept. 20.
*Ore-Ida fries and potatoes are $3 and there was a $1.50 off two coupon on Sunday.
*And of course, I would be remiss if I neglected to mention that the free turkey promotion is back at Food Lion. Spend $45 or more in six of the next eight weeks and get $20 off your next shopping order. Note that like the free milk campaign earlier this year, Food Lion has converted to an electronic system. So there are no more little coupons to collect and keep to prove you’ve qualified for the reward.
At Kroger stores this week (prices good through Saturday, Oct. 3):
Kroger is doing a big tie-in with Procter & Gamble’s breast cancer awareness month and promoting many P&G products. Kroger is donating and remember that when you use the coupons from Sunday’s insert, P&G will make a donation. Look for the pink tags in the store to designate qualifying items.

Emergen-C booster, Oral-B Advantage 1-2-3 toothbrushes, Robitussin DM to Go, Vaseline Sheer Ifusion lotion and ChapStick Fresh Effects are all free after rebate. Note that this means you still have to pay for the product, but you get a coupon back for money off your next order equal to the purchase price. Good deals!
*Also, for those of you who missed it, on the inside of the flier there was another free after rebate deal. Dentek floss and floss picks are $2 and FREE after Register Rewards Rebate.
*And Halls Refresh sugar free drops are $1 but FREE after Register Rewards rebate. Use the 75-cent coupon from Sunday to actually make 75 cents.
*Blue Diamond almonds are BOGO and if you have two of the 75-cent coupons from Sept. 13 that’s like two for $2.
*There’s a deal where you get $3 in Register Rewards when you buy $15 or more in Softsoap body wash, Lady Speed Stick, Speed Stick, Softsoap and Colgate items. There are coupons on all of those from Sunday, which could make that a decent deal.
*There’s a deal where you get a coupon for a free Olay body wash when you buy $25 in participating P&G products this week. See page 3 of this week’s flier. That’s a good deal since you can match up the individual products with coupons from Sunday on top of collecting your freebie at the end.
*There’s a deal on Trop50 orange juice where you pay $6 for two and then get a $1 Register Rewards coupon. On top of that, use the $1 off two coupon from Sept. 13 to make it two for $4.
*Hershey’s candy is 49 cents with the store coupon from Sunday’s sales flier, and if you have the 55-cent coupon from Aug. 23 for Reese’s peanut butter cups, that will make those FREE.
*Soft Scrub is $2.50 with the store coupon from Sunday’s flier. Then use the 50-cent coupon from Aug. 16 to make it $2.
*Revlon lip color is $6.99 and you get a free nail color when you purchase one. Then use the $1 coupon from Sept. 13 to get to for $5.99.
*Almay products are $4.99 and there was a $1 coupon on Sept. 13.
*Clearasil products are buy one get one 50 percent off and there was a $2 coupon on Sunday. That’s a good deal if you have two.

*Johnson’s baby care items are $3.50 and there was a $1 coupon on Sept. 13.
