Well, it’s a mighty fine deals week out there! The pharmacies are busy promoting holiday sales, and Harris Teeter has gone all out to promote its latest initiative involving lower prices on several store brand products and an expanded Unreal Deals selection. There are good deals this week on razors, candy and medications, and there are a few good ones that make the item free after rebate or coupon or both.
And don’t miss the special Walgreens flier in today’s paper, which has a coupon to get $5 in Register Rewards (good like a $5 bill on a future Walgreens purchase) when you spend $25.

Deal of the week: At Harris Teeter this week, Fiber One toaster pastries are three for $5 and there was a 70-cent coupon on Nov. 16. That will double and make those 27 cents a box.

At Lowes Foods (These prices good through Tuesday, Dec. 9):
*Dixie Crystals brown sugar is on sale for $1.50 and there was a 30-cent coupon on Nov. 16, which will double and make the sugar 90 cents. But hurry, that coupon expires Dec. 7.
*Hamburger Helper is BOGO (buy one get one free), $1 a box, and there was a 75 cents off three coupon on Nov. 9. That will double and get you three boxes for $1.50.
*Tennessee Pride roll sausage is $2.50 and there was a 55-cent coupon on Nov. 16 that will double and make that $1.40.
*Mrs. T’s perogies are $2 a box, and you can make it $1 using the $1 coupon from Sept. 28.
*Coffee-mate liquid creamer is $3.49 and there was a 50-cent coupon on Nov. 2, which will double.
*There’s an interesting deal where you get $2 off a half-gallon of Lowes Foods milk when you buy two 12-count Pop Tarts. If you have the 55-cent coupon from Nov. 9 for the Pop Tarts, that could be a decent deal.
*Duncan Hines frosting is $1.50 and if you wan the cream cheese frosting, you can use the 75 cents off two coupon from Nov. 2, which will double, making that a BOGO deal.
*Arnold 100% Natural Bread is $2.19 and there was a 55-cent coupon on Oct. 5, which will double to make that a great deal at $1.09.
At Harris Teeter (prices good through Tuesday, Dec. 9):
Harris Teeter is having a big four-day sale Thursday through Sunday featuring a bunch of those crazy buy X get X free deals. In these deals, you must actually buy the stated quantities to get the deals.
*Boneless chicken breasts, buy one get TWO free.
*Fresh Express salads buy one get TWO free.
*Juicy Juice bottles, buy TWO, get THREE free.
*Primo Thin Palermo’s pizza, buy TWO get THREE free.
*Progresso soups, buy TWO, get THREE free. (you can use the $1 off four coupon from Nov. 23 or two of the 50 cents off two coupons from Nov. 23 (which would double and make that an even better deal…)
Otherwise at Harris Teeter…
*All laundry detergent is $3.99 and there was a 40-cent coupon on Oct. 12 that will double (but it expires on the 7th).
*Herbal Essences shampoos, conditioners and styling products are $1.99 and there was a $1 coupon on Sunday.
*Buddig lunchmeat is $2.50 and there was a $1 coupon on Oct. 12.
*Kellogg’s Froot Loops, Apple Jacks and Smart Start are BOGO and there were Kellogg’s coupons on Nov. 9.
*Veg-All canned vegetables are BOGO and there was a 35-cent coupon on mixed vegetables on Nov. 9. That will double and should make that a decent deal.
*Progresso broth is BOGO and there was a $1 coupon on Nov. 16.
*Ziploc bags are BOGO and there was a $1 off two coupon on Oct. 12 and a 40 cents off one coupon, which will double, that same day. Those coupons expire Dec. 6, so hurry.
*Betty Crocker cookie mix is three for $5 and there was a 40-cent coupon on Nov. 16, which will double.
*Meow Mix cat food is $9.99 and there was a $1 coupon on Nov. 16.

*Wish Bone salad dressings are three for $5 and there was a $1.25 off two coupon on Oct. 5.
*Knorr rice and pasta side dishes are 79 cents and there was a 75 cents off twoo coupon on Oct. 5 that will almost make that a BOGO.

*Healthy Choice Café Steamers are $2.50 and there was a 75-cent coupon on Oct. 26.
*Celestial Seasonings tea is two for $3.50 and there was a 55-cent coupon on Nov. 9 (note that it’s a buy a second at a penny deal so you need to buy two).
*Duracell batteries are $2.99 with the store coupon from Sunday’s flier and there was a 75-cent coupon Sunday.
*All laundry detergent 12-load bottles are $1.79 with the store coupon from Sunday’s flier. I think you can use the 40-cent coupon from Oct. 12 with that.
*Glade Plugins Scened Oil refill packs are $2.50 and there was a BOGO coupon on Nov. 2.
*Bic Soleil system four packs are $3.99 and there was a $3 coupon on Nov. 2.
*Aussie products and Herbal Essences are three for $10 and there was a $2 off two Aussie coupon on Sunday and a $1 Herbal Essences coupon Sunday.
*L’Oreal Feria hair color is $8.99 and there is a $2 coupon in this month’s Easy Saver catalog (in stores, in the racks with the sales fliers). Then you can use the $2 coupon from Oct. 19 to save $2 more.
*Colgate MaxFresh toothpaste is $2.99 with a $2 Register Rewards instant rebate. (To read more about Register Rewards, click here.) Then there was a $1 coupon on Nov. 16 in that one-page Kroger insert… but you can use the coupon at Walgreens because it is a manufacturer’s coupon!
*Fixodent is $3.99 and there was a 75-cent coupon on Sunday.
*Reach toothbrushes and floss are two for $6, and if you buy two products, you get $6 in Register Rewards. That would make them FREE. But if you use the BOGO toothbrush coupon from Oct. 12, that would make that a great money-maker.
*Act restoring mouthwash is $2.99 and there was a $1 coupon on Sept. 28.
*Pampers diapers are $9.99 and there was a coupon Sunday.
*Similac and Enfamil Lipil are $2 off with the store coupon from Sunday’s paper. Then there were coupons for both of those in recent weeks ($1 off Similac on Oct. 12 and $2 off Enfamil on Nov. 2. Don’t forget the $10 mail in rebate on three cans of Enfamil, too.)
*ThermaCare items are buy one get one 50 percent off and there was a $1.50 coupon Sunday.

*Pepto Bismol is $4.99 with the store coupon from Sunday’s flier. Then there was a 55-cent coupon Sunday.

*There’s a deal this week where you get $5 in Register Rewards when you buy three participating pain relief products. (see page 42 for details). The list includes Motrin, Tylenol and Aleve, and it includes Excedrin, which has its own Register Rewards deal this week.
*There’s a deal where you can get up to $9 back in Register Rewards when you buy specific Vicks and Delsym products. See page 43 for details. But there should be coupons on all of those items from the past few weeks.
At Rite Aid this week (good through Saturday, Dec. 6):
*There’s a FREE razor opportunity this week. If you buy the Gillette Fusion or Fusion Power razor, it’s $9, with a $5 Single Check Rebate. (To read about Rite Aid’s Single Check Rebate program, click here.) Then use the $4 coupon from Sunday to make it FREE.
*There’s also a Gillette gift set, which includes a razor, deodorant, shave gel, shampoo and body wash. It is $14.99 with a $5 Single Check Rebate and the $4 coupon. You’d end up paying $5.99.
*Cover Girl makeup is buy one get a second one at half off, and there was a coupon Sunday to get a free face product when you buy a foundation.
*Olay skin and bath care products are buy one get one half off and there were some Olay coupons Sunday that should work with that deal.
*M&Ms Premiums are $2.99 and there was a $1 coupon on Nov. 16.
*Philips ear bud headphones are $4.99 but FREE after Single Check rebate. (Think stocking stuffer…)
*There’s also a GE power strip or 24 hour timer that is $5 but FREE after Single Check Rebate.
*Gillette Men’s Shampoo is two for $8, and there’s a $1 Single Check Rebate on two. There was a $1 coupon on Sunday, and if you have two, that would make it two for $5.
*Jergen’s lotion is buy one get one 50 percent off and there was a $1 coupon on Nov. 2.
*Maybelline cosmetics are buy one get one 50 percent off and there were Maybelline coupons on Oct. 26 and Sept. 21.
*Oral-B CrossAction, Advantage and Indicator toothbrushes are $5.99 with a $2 Single Check Rebate (note those are multi-packs). There was a coupon for those on Sunday.
*Mitchum deodorant is two for $7 and there’s a $3 Single Check Rebate when you buy two. Then if you have two of the 75-cent coupons from Oct. 26, that would all add up to make it two for $2.50.

*Crest rinse is buy one get one 50 percent off and there was a 75-cent coupon Sunday.
*Crest Healthy Radiance is $8.99 and there was a $1.50 coupon Sunday.
*ThermaCare is 20 percent off and there was a 55cent coupon Sunday.
*DayQuil and Nyquil are $1 off and there was a $1.50 coupon Sunday.
*Pepto Bismol is 25 percent off and there was a 55-cent coupon on Sunday.
*Commit lozenges are 20 percent off and there was a $7 coupon on Nov. 9 on a 72-count box or larger.
This week at Target (good through Saturday, Dec. 6):
*M&Ms Premiums are 15 percent off and there was a $1 coupon on Nov. 16.
*Hershey’s Kisses candies are three for $7 and there was a $1.50 off three coupon on Nov. 16.
*Jergens Naturals lotions are $6.29 and there was a $1 coupon on Nov. 2.
*Cetaphil is $7.99 and there was a $1 coupon on March 30 if you still have that one.
*Olay Definity color recapture and Regenerist micro-sculpting cream are $23.89, and there were Olay coupons on Sunday. Then you also get a $5 Target gift card with any purchase of an Olay item priced over $20 this week, so that could be a decent deal.
*Systane and OptiFree Replenish are $7 each and there were coupons for both on Nov. 2.
*Tums QuikPaks are $3.69 and there was a $1 coupon on Nov. 16.
*Folgers coffee is $6 and there was a 25-cent coupon Sunday.
*Campbell’s soups are five for $3 (chicken noodle and tomato) and there was a 40 cents off four coupon on Oct. 5.
*Life Savers mints are 10 percent off and there was a $1 coupon back on Oct. 19 if you have it.
*Olay body wash is $4.99 and there was a $1 coupon on Sunday.
*There’s also a deal on Procter & Gamble products where you get a $5 Target gift card when you buy any two products listed (including Iams dog food, Charmin, Bounty, Tide, Venus Embrace razors and Gillette Fusion razors). To me, the best deal there is the Gillette Fusion razors. If you have two of the $4 coupons from Sunday, they will be $3.99 each. Then with the $5 gift card, your total cost would end up being $2.98 for two (of course, they are free after rebate at Rite Aid this week, too).
