Wednesday deals...

Well, it’s a pretty good deals week out there! There are lots of good deals at the grocery stores and the pharmacies this week. Oral B CrossAction toothbrushes are free at Walgreens this week (after rebate) and there are a few other good free items at the pharmacies this week. If you take Alavert, this would be a good week to stock up at CVS. Lowe’s Foods has a big buy one get one free sale going on, and it could be a good week to stock up on things like condiments and hot dogs for your July 4 barbecue.

Deal of the week: Since July 4 is coming up, I think I’m going to choose the deal on Hebrew National hot dogs and Coke this week at Harris Teeter. The hot dogs are already on sale buy one get one free. If you have two of the 75-cent coupons from May 18, that’s already a pretty good deal. But then there’s also a coupon in today’s Harris Teeter flier that will give you an additional $2 off when you buy two Hebrew National hot dogs and a Coke product. In all, that should work out to just a couple of dollars for all three products.

Click “Read more” to see the list! And remember, if the store has a loyalty card, you’ll need it to get the sale price.

Re: Wednesday deals...

I tried the deal of the week at HT but my (1) 75 cent off coupon would not scan with the $2 coupon. It was an Assistant Mgr. who was ringing me up so no use going to cutomer service! She said I couldn't use the two together.

In the end I decided to only get the one package of hot dogs and use the 75 cent coupon as that was a good deal.
