Well, it’s a pretty decent deals week this week. And there are some unusual special offers and coupons. Keep an eye out for the free after rebate things at the pharmacies.
Deal of the week: I bet a lot of people have been hesitant to try those new clinical strength deodorants because they’re like $8 each. Well here’s your chance to try one for free. At Rite Aid this week, Right Guard Professional Strength is on sale for $5.99 with a $5 Single Check Rebate. Then there was a $1 coupon on May 18 that would make it FREE.

At Lowes Foods (prices good through Tuesday, June 17):
*Lowes is having a big produce sale. Peaches, raspberries, watermelons, Vidalia onions and tomatoes are all 50 percent off.
*Tostitos chips are on sale for $3 and salsa is on sale for $2.50. There was that coupon on Saturday to save 55 cents when you buy both, and that will double at Lowe’s. So you’d get the chips and the dip for $4.40.
*Oscar Mayer Lunchables are $2 and there was a $1 off three coupon on April 27.
*There’s a deal this week where you get $2 off a half-gallon of Lowes Foods milk when you buy two 12-packs of Pop Tarts (two for $5 this week). IF your kids like Pop Tarts, that’s probably a good deal.
*Select General Mills cereals are on sale two for $5 and you could use the $1 off two coupon from Sunday.
*Quaker Simple Harvest granola bars are two for $5 and there was a $1 coupon on May 4.
*Smaller 20 oz. boxes of Bisquick are $1. There was a $1 off two coupon on May 25. As far as I remember, it did not specify a size.
*Johnson’s baby care items are $3 and there was a $1 coupon on April 27.
*Tropicana pure juice is $4 and there was a $1 coupon on April 20.
*Go-Gurt is two for $5 and there was that 75 cents off two coupon Sunday, which will double to $1.50.
*Jello pudding is $2.50 and there were coupons two weeks ago for select new varieties.
*Land O Lakes butter is $2.99 and there was that 55 cents off two coupon on June 1 that will double.
*Chef Boyardee microwave pasta is $1 each and there was a 35 cents off three coupon on May 18. That same coupon would be good on the cans, too, which are 10 for $11 this week.
*Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce is $2 and there was a 55-cent coupon on May 18 that will double and make that 90 cents.
*And Life Savers bagged candy is $1.79 and there was that BOGO (buy one get one free) coupon on Sunday.

At Harris Teeter (prices good through Tuesday, June 17):
*Colgate toothpaste is BOGO and there was a 50-cent coupon on June 1 that will double.
*HT eggs are $1.33 a dozen, which is just a good price.
*Pepsi 2 liter bottles are $1 each, and when you buy 10, you get $2 off.
*There’s a big sale on South Beach products, and there were South Beach coupons on June 1.
*Golden Grahams and Cookie Crisp are BOGO and there was that $1 off two coupon Sunday for General Mills cereal.
*Quaker Simple Harvest granola bars are $2.50 and there was a $1 coupon on May 4.
*Excedrin PM is $1.99 and there was a $1 coupon on May 4.
*Hefty One-Zip bags are BOGO this week and there was a $1 coupon on April 6, if you still have it, or a $1 off two coupon on May 4.
*Ragu pasta sauce pouches are $2 and there was a $1 off two coupon on May 18.
*Lysol toilet bowl cleaner is BOGO and there was a 50-cent coupon on May 4.
*Alpo cans are five for $3 and there was a buy six get one free coupon on April 27.
*VegAll frozen vegetables are BOGO and there was a 35-cent coupon on March 16 that would double.
*Daisy sour cream is three for $5 and there was a 50-cent coupon on June 1.
At Food Lion this week (prices good through Tuesday, June 17):
*There’s a Coke deal where you save more when you buy more. Get three two liter bottles for 99 cents each. Four for 89 cents each or five for 79 cents each.
*Food Lion is also running the Pop Tarts deal where you get $2 off milk when you buy two boxes of Pop Tarts.
*Cookie Crisp and Trix are BOGO, and you could use the $1 off two General Mills cereals coupon from Sunday.
*Ragu pasta sauce is $2.50 and there was a $! Off three coupon on May 18.
*Tostitos chips are three for $10 and the salsa is $3. You could use the coupon from Sunday to save 55 cents when you buy a bag of chips and a jar of dip, but at Food Lion, that won’t double.
*Purex laundry detergent is two for $5 and there was a 50-cent coupon on May 18.
*Freschetta PizzAmore pizzas are $5 and there was a 75-cent coupon on March 30.
*Old Spice and Secret deodorants are $2.25 and there were coupons for both on June 1.
At Kroger stores this week (prices good through Saturday, June 14):
*Aquafresh toothpaste is $1 and there were a couple of Aquafresh $1 coupons on May 4. I’m not sure if the varieties on sale match the ones listed on the coupons, but if they do, that’s FREE toothpaste.
*Gillette Fusion shave gel is $1 off and there was a $1.50 coupon on June 1.
*Head n Shoulders is $4.50 and there was that BOGO coupon on June 1, which will get you two for $4.50.
*Lysol products are 33 percent off and there were Lysol coupons on May 4 and June 1.
*Knorr-Lipton sides are $1 and there was a 75 cents off two coupon on May 18. That would be two for $1.25.
*Ragu pasta sauce is $1.55 and there was a $1 off three coupon on May 18.
*Pillsbury crescent rolls, Grands and Cinnamon Rolls are $1.88 and there was that $1 off three coupon on May 25.
*Dannon Activia yogurt is $2.50 and there was a $1 coupon in the April 27 paper (in the special little Kroger insert).
*Ken’s salad dressings are two for $3 and there was a $1 off two coupon on May 4.
*Dove hair care and deodorant are $3.48 and there were coupons for both on Sunday (including the $2 hair care coupon).
*Dial soap (liquid and bar) is $1 and there was that 60-cent coupon May 18 that will not double because it’s above Kroger’s doubling limit.
*Huggies Supreme and Snug n Dry Diapers are $9.49 and there were Huggies coupons on May 18.
*Newman’s Own marinades are $2.50 and there was a 50-cent coupon on June 1 that will double to make that $1.50.
*Advil pain reliever is on sale for $4.49. Depending on which kind you buy, you could use the $2 coupon from Sunday or a coupon from a pervious week.
*And there are some good 10 for $10 produce deals this week, including avocadoes, Fresh Express shredded lettuce, broccoli and red grapes.
At Walgreens this week (good through Saturday, June 14):
*Scott and Cottonelle toilet paper 12 packs are both two for $14 this week. There’s also a $2 EasySaver mail-in rebate when you buy two. (If you’re not familiar with Walgreens’ EasySaver program, click here.) There was also a 25-cent Cottonelle coupon on April 27, and if you have two, you could knock another 50 cents off the price. So $11.50 for 24 rolls isn’t too bad of a price…
*Domino sugar 5 lb.bags are $1.99 with the coupon from this week’s sales flier. Then you can use the 30-cent coupon from May 4 to make it $1.69.
*Hefty trash bags are $3.50 and there was a 75-cent coupon on May 18.
*Palmolive dish liquid is BOGO, two for $1.99, with the store coupon from Sunday’s flier. Then there was a 25-cent coupon on June 1, and if you have two, that could be two for $1.49.
*Electrasol is $2.99 with a $1 EasySaver mail-in rebate. Then you can use the 75-cent coupon from June 1 to make it $1.99.
*Ziploc bags are two for $5 and there were Ziploc coupons this weekend. You can also mix and match those with Mardi Gras napkins, and Walgreens paper towels or toilet paper, two for $5.
*Brut cologne, deodorant and other items are 50 percent off and there were Brut coupons this weekend.
*Schick Quattro Titanium razors and trimmers are $8.99 and there’s a $4 coupon in this month’s Easy Saver booklet, available in stores in the racks with the sales fliers. Then you can also use the $2 coupon from Sunday to make the final cost $2.99.
*Nivea for Men is two for $10 and there’s a $5 Register Rewards rebate when you buy two. Register Rewards are coupons that print out when you check out and are good like cash on a future purchase. Then there were also Nivea coupons on May 11.
*There’s a big Dove sale going on this week, where you get a certain number of Register Rewards when you buy Dove products. See page 13 of this week’s flier for details, and don’t forget the Dove coupons from this Sunday’s paper.
*Jergen’s lotions are on sale and there were Jergen’s coupons Sunday.
*Aveeno products are on sale and there were Aveeno coupons on April 20.
*Sea Breeze is $2.99 and there was a 55-cent coupon on Sunday.
*L’Oreal Vive Pro and StudioLine products are three for $10 and there were coupons for both on Sunday.
*Listerine Whitening Quick Dissolving Strips are $26.99 but there’s a $6 EasySaver mail-in rebate this week. Then you can use the $3 coupon from the June 1 Parade Magazine to make it $17.99.
*Aleve items are $2.99 and there was a $1 coupon on April 27.
*Opti-Free twin packs are $13.99 and there was a $1 coupon on April 27.
*Zantac is $16.99 and there’s a $2 EasySaver mail-in rebate. Then you can also use the $1 coupon from May 18 to make the final cost $13.99.
*Cortizone is 33 percent off and there was a $1 coupon on May 4.
*All laundry detergent is $3.49 with the store coupon from Sunday’s flier. Then you can use the $1 coupon from April 20 to make it $2.49.
*And, in perhaps the strangest promotion this week… Walgreens is offering to give you a Kung Fu Panda sleeping bag when you buy $20 in Energizer batteries.
At Rite Aid this week (good through Saturday, June 14):
*Visine eye drops are $3.99 and there’s a $2 Single Check Rebate with those this week. (To read about Rite Aid’s Single Check Rebate program, click here.)
*Prilosec OTC 28-count boxes are $18.99 with a $2 Single Check Rebate. Then you can use the $1 coupon from June 1 to make your final cost $14.99.
*Kotex tampons, pads and pantiliners are $3.99 or $2.49 with the store coupon from Sunday’s flier. Then you can also use the coupons from Sunday’s paper to save even more.
*Lamisil products are $12.99 with a $5 Single Check Rebate and there were BOGO Lamisil coupons on April 13.
*Excedrin 100-count boxes are $7.99 and there’s a $2 coupon in Sunday’s flier. Then you can also use the $2 coupon from Sunday to make your final cost $3.99.
*Mitchum deodorant is two for $7 and there’s a $2 Single Check Rebate when you buy two. Then you could use two of the 75-cent coupons from April 6 to make your final cost two for $3.50.
*Palmolive dish liquid 25 oz. bottles are $1.99 and there was a 25-cent coupon on June 1.
*O-Cel-O and Scotch-Brite sponges are also $1.99 and there were coupons for those on Sunday.
*Tidy Cats litter 10 lb bags are $1.69 and if you have the $1 coupon from April 27, that’s 69 cents.
*Centrum products are $10.99, with a $1 Single Check Rebate. Then you can also use the $3 coupon from April 6 to make your final cost $6.99.
*Gum toothbrushes and dental accessories are $2, with a $1 Single Check Rebate when you buy two. Then there was also a 75-cent toothbrush coupon and a 55-cent accessory coupon on April 20 that would make those pretty cheap, or (in the case of the toothbrushes) FREE.
*Curel lotion items are buy one get one 50 percent off, and there’s a $1 Single Check Rebate on them as well. AND, unlike a lot of Rite Aid’s rebates, the limit per household is TWO, not one. That means you could get $1 back on each. And if you use two of the coupons from April 20, you could get a pretty decent deal.
*Nivea for Men products are 20 percent off and there was a $1 coupon on May 11.
*Electrasol automatic dishwasher detergent is $3.49 with a $1.50 Single Check Rebate. Then you can use the 75-cent coupon from June 1 (or the 35-cent coupon if you wan the powder or gel) to save more.
*Sunsilk shampoo and conditioner is $3 and there was a $1 coupon on May 18.
*Schick Quattro Titanium razors and trimmers are $7.99 and there was a $2 coupon on Sunday.
*Gillette deodorant twin packs and body wash are buy one get on e50 percent off, and there was a $1 coupon for the body wash on June 1.
*L’Oreal Age Perfect skin care is $12.99 and there was a $1 coupon on Sunday.
*Maybelline makeup is buy one get one 50 percent off and there was a $2 coupon for any Maybelline face product on April 27.
*Splenda sweetener 100 packs are $2.99 and there was a $1 coupon on Sunday.
*DEAL OF THE WEEK: Right Guard Professional Strength is $5.99 with a $5 Single Check Rebate. Then there was a $1 coupon on May 18 that would make it FREE.
*There are several FREE after Single Check Rebate items this week, including: Itch-X lotion ($5.99 but FREE after rebate); Soothing Care products ($4.99 but FREE after rebate)
*And of course, there was that really interesting prescription transfer coupon this week. Not only is it a $30 transfer coupon, but when you use it, you will be entered in a drawing to win a year’s worth of free gas. Who couldn’t use some free gas?
This week at CVS (good through Saturday, June 14):
*Scott toilet paper 12 packs are $5.99 and there was a $1 coupon on May 18, which would make that an OK deal.
*Huggies are $7.99 and there was a $1 coupon on May 18.
*Crest toothpaste (certain varieties) is $1.99 and there was a 75-cent coupon on June 1 that will make it $1.24.
*Dove shampoos and conditioners are BOGO and there was a $2 coupon on Sunday. If you have two of those, that would be a good deal.
*Coke fridge packs are four for $11 but you get a $3 ExtraBucks rebate when you buy four. So that would be a final cost of four for $8. (If you are unfamiliar with the ExtraBucks program, click here.)
*There’s also an interesting deal where you get $10 in ExtraBucks back when you buy $20 in General Mills cereal, bars or Folgers coffee. See page 2 of this week’s fliers for the list of qualifying products. But already, getting $10 of $20 back, you’re at half-price.
*And, if you have kids who like candy (who doesn’t?) or maybe a party coming up, there’s a deal where you get $5 back when you buy $10 worth of qualifying candy. See page 3 of this week’s flier for the qualifying products.

*Raid Ant & Roach killer twin packs are $4.99 and there was a $1 coupon on May 11, which will get you the two cans for $3.99.
*Hefty One Zip bags are $2.49 and there was a $1 coupon on April 6 (OK deal).
*Nivea for Men products are on sale, and when you buy $10 worth, you get $5 in ExtraBucks back. Then you can also use the $1 coupons from May 11.
*There are a ton of Dove beauty products on sale, and (as luck would have it) we got a bunch of Dove coupons this weekend. Then if you buy $10 worth, you get $3 ExtraBucks back as well. Between the rebate and the coupons, you should be able to at least get those items around half-price, depending on which ones you buy.
*If you buy $20 of Biore products you get $10 ExtraBucks back this week. And you can knock another $2 off the total with the coupon from April 20 to save $2 when you buy a Biore cleaner PLUS a second Biore product.
*Jergen’s Natural Glow lotion is on sale for $6.99 and there was a $1 coupon Sunday.
*Sea Breeze astringent is BOGO and there was a 55-cent coupon on Sunday.
*L’Oreal Vive Pro shampoo is $3.50 and there was a $1 coupon Sunday.
*Listerine Smart Rinse is $3.49 but FREE after ExtraBucks rebate. And you can make $1 if you have the $1 coupon from April 27.

*Crest Healthy Radiance is $9.99 and there was a $3 coupon on June 1.
*Excedrin 250-count bottles are $9.99 and there’s a $3 ExtraBucks rebate. Then you can use that $2 coupon from Sunday to make your final cost $4.99.
*Prilosec OTC 42-count boxes are $26.99 with a $4 ExtraBucks rebate. Then you can also use the $1 coupon from June 1 to make the final cost $21.99.
*Maalox, Gas-X, ex-Lax and Benefiber products come with a $3 ExtraBucks rebate this week. Then you can also use the various coupons out there from the past few weeks on those products.
*Nexcare bandages are $2.99 and there was a $1 coupon on April 6.
*Ajax dishwashing liquid is 88 cents and there was a 20-cent coupon on May 18.
There was no Kerr Drug flier this week.
This week Target (good through Saturday, June 14):
*Yoplait yogurt is 54 cents a cup and there was a 40 cents off six coupon on Sunday (OK deal).
*Scotch Brite sponges are three for $8 and there were Scotch Brite coupons this weekend (again OK deal).
*Electrasol is $2.69 and there was a 75-cent coupon on June 1.
*Banana Boat Baby products are $8.99 and there was a $1 coupon on April 13.
*Huggies big packs are on sale for $19.99 and you get a $5 Target gift card when you buy two. Then you could use two of the $1 coupons from May 18 to save $2 more.
*Maybelline makeup is on sale and there were coupons on April 27.
*Gillette body wash is $4 and there was a $1 coupon on June 1.
*Sunsilk shampoo is $2.99 and there was a $1 coupon on May 18.
*Opti-Free RepleniSH liquid is $7 and there was a $1 coupon on April 27.
