Wednesday deals...

There are a lot of really good deals this week, and a fair number of unusual ones. There’s a free after rebate Colgate toothbrush at CVS, and you can score Prilosec 150 totally free after the rebate and the coupon at Walgreens this week.

Also, make sure to read carefully because there are a lot of interesting deals involving Procter & Gamble products this week. Several stores are running special promotions that give you a bonus when you purchase a certain number of items. In most cases, you can combine store coupons with the coupons from this weekend’s P&G Brandsaver for extra savings.

Deal of the week: This week let’s go with the L’Oreal Vive Pro deal at Rite Aid. Shampoos, conditioners and treatments are two for $8, and there’s a $4 Single Check Rebate when you buy two. Then if you have two of the $1 coupons from April 27, you could wind up paying $2 for two, which is a fine deal.

Click “Read more” to see the list! And remember, if the store has a loyalty card, you’ll need it to get the sale price.

At Lowes Foods (These prices good through Tuesday, May 13):

*Gain laundry detergent is $3.99 and there was a 25-cent coupon on April 6, which will double.

*Honey Nut Cheerios are BOGO (buy one get one free), two for $3.69, and there was a $1 off two coupon on April 6 that could make that two for $2.69.

*Oscar Mayer Lunchables are two for $4 and there was a $1 off three coupon on April 27.

*Yoplait yogurt is on sale 50 cents a cup and there was that coupon on April 13 to get a FREE Whips cup when you buy four.

*Tropicana Pure 100 % juice is $4 and there was a $1 coupon on April 20.

*Regular Tropicana orange juice is $3 and there was a $1 off two coupon on Sunday.

*Bertolli pasta sauces are $2 a jar, and there was that 60-cent coupon on Sunday, which will double to make them 80 cents apiece.

*Freschetta PizzAmore is $5 and there was a 75-cent coupon on March 30, which will double to make it $3.50.

At Harris Teeter (prices good through Tuesday, May 13):

*First of all, Harris Teeter has a great deal on its HT brand sour cream this week: buy one get TWO free. Sour cream is one of those things you can always use, so I would definitely do that deal.

*Barilla penne or ziti pasta is $1 a box. I don’t know if that includes the Whole Grain pasta, but if it does, you can use the 55-cent coupon from this weekend, which will double to make it free.

*Bertolli sauces are BOGO, and there was that great 60-cent coupon on Sunday. That will make that a pretty good deal.

*Tide laundry detergent is $4.99, and with the 35-cent coupon from Sunday doubled, that wouldn’t be a bad deal.

*Venus razors are $8.99 and there was a $4 coupon this week (but I think there’s a rebate/coupon deal at one of the pharmacies that would make that free).

*Crest rinse is $3.99 ad there was a 75-cent coupon Sunday, which will double to make it $2.49.

*Maxwell House coffee is $6.49 and there was a $1 coupon on March 9.

*Whitman’s Samplers are $5.99 and you could use the $2 coupon from Sunday (but you can score these for $1.99 with that same coupon at a couple of the pharmacies this week).

*Band Aid bandages are $1.99 and there was a 50-cent coupon on April 27 that will double to make those $1.

*Ziploc bags and containers are BOGO and there were a bunch of Ziploc coupons on April 27.

*Hefty trash bags are BOGO, and there was a 75-cent coupon on Feb. 10 that will double. The last time they ran this sale, I recall it being a pretty good deal. That coupon expires on Sunday.

*Jello pudding six-packs are $2.50 and there was a 50-cent coupon on April 6 that will double to make those $1.50.

*Mrs. T’s Perogies are BOGO, and I think the $1 coupon on the frozen food coupon display that was in stores awhile back should still be good (someone correct me if I’m wrong).

Buy three qualifying items and get $4 in Register Rewards back. Buy four items and get $6 back. Or buy five items and get $10 back. Of course, since they are all P&G items, many of them also have coupons that were issued in Sunday’s P&G Brandsaver insert. Take a good look, as many of the items are on sale and have coupons from Sunday. You could come up with a combination that will score you a really good deal (feel free to share!). Please note that the qualifying items are listed on pages 5, 28 AND 29 of this week’s flier.

*Also, be sure to check out the back cover of this week’s flier. There’s a special coupon you can use to save extra on specific P&G products. Re: Wednesday deals...

Everyone should be sure to check their favorite online coupon printing sites. Coupons.com has several coupons that correspond to the Lowes Store coupons and items on sale this week. Although, my local Lowes Foods is wiped OUT - almost as bad as it is during triples!
