Re: Share your Ikea stories...

I had business in Charlotte on opening day so I arrived around 6:30 pm. The parking lot was full and there was a line of 8 cars turning into the parking lot. The store was beautiful and overstaffed...there were people roaming around asking if you needed help....I ended up purchasing a rug for my bathroom for $2.99 and a small skillet for omlettes for $2.99 too...I bought to two side chairs for work for $59.99 each and 2 pillows for the chairs that were beautifully embroidered for $24.99 each...My co-worker bought 6 great cinnamon rolls (Cinnabon like...) for $4; I also bought a lignonberry cheesecake...for $4.99...some great deals..I can't wait to go back!!

Re: Share your Ikea stories...

My one & only experience with Ikea was in Greece 3 yrs ago. I was stunned at all the deals, in fact, while we were there they were having the biggest sale of the year--too bad I couldn't get anything larger than a toothpick in my suitcase!
