Prescription deal at HT...

I mentioned awhile back that Harris Teeter had sent me a mailing with a really good offer for transferring my prescription to the Harris Teeter pharmacy. It seems now that a slightly different version of this offer is available to all VIC card members.

Through Sept. 30, you can get a free $25 gift card for transferring your prescription to Harris Teeter. Then on top of that, you will also get a $10 credit added onto your VIC card for EACH prescription you transfer. There is no limit. So if you transfer one prescription, you'd get the $25 gift card and the $35 credit. If you transfer two, you'd get the $25 gift card and two $10 credits. That's a mighty nice incentive for a very small amount of work. You can find the details of the deal on Harris Teeter's Web site here.

(As always, I caution do want to people who have multiple precriptions that bouncing them from pharmacy to pharmacy could be dangerous because of possible drug interactions.)

Re: Prescription deal at HT...

From the discussion on savvydollar.org, it seems that some people got the offer in their E-vic email, and some did not, so not sure if this is available to everyone, or just select customers.

We have found other offers in the E-vic emails in the last few months that were targeted to some and not available to everyone. Not sure who is selected and why...

Re: Prescription deal at HT...

There is no coupon.

This is all done in-store and electronically by attaching the $10 reward to your VIC card. (You should get the gift card when you go to pick up the prescription, and your VIC account will be credited electronically when you transfer the prescription, and then the $10 will automatically come off your bill the next time you make a purchase of $10 or more and swipe your VIC card.)

As far as I can tell, the offer is available to all VIC households. If you have doubts, though, I would advise you to call your store pharmacy first to double check.

although the link itself worked, I can find no way to manually navigate to that coupon on my own at HTs web site. Are you sure that this deal will work for everybody?
