On travel insurance...

Given the perilous state of the airline industry nowadays, reader Wayne was quite timely pointing me to this story on airfarewatchdog.com. The question was whether travel insurance purchased from the airline covers you in the case that the airline goes bankrupt. The answer? Probably not.
