New Attraction Book...

The new 2009 Attraction Books are out, featuring coupons from dozens of local businesses. I like these because they are very local and there are a lot of BOGO restaurant coupons. There are also some coupons for national chains, including CVS, World Market, Michael's, AC Moore and Dick's Sporting Goods.

The books are $25 each, but I do think you will be able to make them pay for themselves pretty easily. There is a "Triangle" book and a Johnston County book. If you get a bunch of friends together, you can decrease the cost each of you pays because the company is offering a buy five get one free deal. And shipping is free as long as you choose standard shipping. Preview the books or order one here.

Re: New Attraction Book...

I didn't see much for Durham, so I'll probably pass. I get the Entertainment book every year but I've been disappointed with their dining selections the past few years. Fewer and fewer options. We do save a bundle with the coupon for JC Penney portraits however. I've seen several of these coupon books recently and it's hard to determine which is the best one.

Re: New Attraction Book...

I buy one of these books every year and love it. I DO track my savings and have more than paid for the book each year. Not only are their restaurant savings (which provide the least amount of savings) but there are also great coupons (at least in the last 3 we've got) for Home Depot, Whole Foods and entertainment spots like Adventure Landing. We use ALL our HD coupons and save over $55 right there.
My advise - use the pages inside to write down and track your savings. And don't be afraid to share some of the coupons you don't use with your friends.
