Lunch is on Lonesource on Wednesday.
The Cary company offers local businesses direct mail and printing on demand services. It also sells stuff like office and janitorial supplies to companies. It doesn't sell food but it knows what office workers like: free hotdogs.
To showcase their new black delivery trucks as well as to drum up some local awareness for their business, Lonesource is parking a truck outside Capital Bank in downtown Raleigh on Wednesday and handing out hot dogs between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. You might also be able to score some complimentary Lonesource-branded products and paper.
If the dogs are good, mark your calendar. They'll be back on June 8 and 22.
The company started with four employees and now, through local growth and acquisitions, has 200 workers at offices in seven locations.
If the marketing blitz in Raleigh works, other cities that are home to Lonesource operations will get their on free hotdog days.
"We've been in Raleigh's backyard for more than 10 years now and our sexy, sleek black trucks drive by local businesses every day, but we're excited to get in the face of local businesses and continue to grow with this blitz," CEO Bradley King said in a statement.
