For those of you who missed my class on coupons and saving money but wanted to attend, you might consider attending a workshop by my good friend Faye Prosser on Aug. 16.
Faye is a local couponer who I always describe as a "coupon genius." That embarasses her (sorry, Faye!), but it's true. She is also the author of The Smart Spending Guide (How to Cut Your Grocery Bills in Half, Save on Your Everyday Expenses and Live Within Your Means). And, this time, the fees collected for her seminar will benefit The Duke Ovarian Cancer Research Program, which is an even better reason to attend.
The seminar will be held on Aug. 16 at the The Clayton Center (111 East Second St., Clayton) from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The fee is $10 for Clayton residents and $15 for nonresidents. You can check out Faye's Web site for information on how to register (click the Workshops link) or information on her book.
Also, it looks like we may repeat my class this fall. Stay tuned for more details!
