Are you a 'mouse potato?'

I am definitely guilty of working on the computer too much. I am also guilty of eating in front of the computer. But I still am not quite sure about two new terms that Staples used in a recent press release.

According to the 3rd Annual Staples National Small Business Survey, 62 percent of small business owners said they were transforming into a "mouse potato" because they were spending lots of time clicking away at the computer. Additionally, two-thirds said they eat and work at the same time, and one in five are replacing breakfast with "deskfast" in an effort to maximize time.

I may do all of the above, but I still don't think I'll be using the terms "mouse potato" or "deskfast" any time soon...

Re: Are you a 'mouse potato?'

I like the term "mouse potato" as a buzz word of new trends (like "recessionista") but deskfast is just kind of hard to say!

Yeah, that's me. And I'm worse since I switched to a laptop at home.
