A new Wal-Mart logo...

USA Today reports this morning that Wal-Mart is planning to remake its logo and will be replacing the signs on the front of its U.S. stores beginning this fall. Per a story in the Wall Street Journal this weekend, the new logo will eliminate the hyphen in the company's name, now shown as a star in the store logo. The new logo will also show the company's name in white letters on an orange background, followed by a small starburst.

Re: A new Wal-Mart logo...

This is news, all things considered. Keep up the great work, Sue.

Re: A new Wal-Mart logo...

Regardless of how you feel about Wal-Mart, I think it is news and something that at least some people will find interesting (and therefore worth sharing).

And, if you read this blog regularly, you will find that I frequently write about local companies as well. Sorry if you do not agree.

Re: A new Wal-Mart logo...

Why is this news? It is not. It is just a free commercial for WM name in front of folks.

Please give us more "news" especially focused on locally owned companies. They are far more interesting.
