A couple of readers e-mailed me over the weekend with the same query: When is the Dunkin Donuts on Erwin Road in Durham going to open? I called the developer today to find out. Work on the store begins today, and the projected opening date is March 15. So hang on for a few more months, Dunkin lovers.
Also that same center is looking to become the first North Carolina location for a Colorado chain called Noodles & Co. Noodles serves a wide variety of noodle dishes, from macaroni and cheese to pad thai. That store should open in March or April. If you get a chance, check out Noodles' Web site. It's a lot of fun.
