Congratulations are in order for Iona Sherman, a Chapel Hill resident and owner of Iona's Music Lessons. She has been named the first prize winner of Intuit's Small Business United Grant Competition and was chosen from among nearly 2,000 people from across the country.

I got a really cool e-mail from Unilever the other day containing several items of interest.

First, there was a notice that the May 17 coupon inserts will include a Unilever insert with $24 in savings.

Second, there was a notice about a new contest from Hellmann's in which you could win $10,000 and 10 of your friends and family could win $1,000 each.
