Ben & Jerry's scoop shops nationwide are offering customers a BOGO deal on sundaes every Monday from now through the end of August. No coupon is required to get the deal.
However, the company says, "we do encourage responsible ice cream sundae intake; therefore, the larger-than-life Vermonster Sundae is not included."
Alas...
Retailers continue to aggressively promote their one-hour photo services... I'd expect a few more deals in the sales fliers on Sunday with July 4 being such a big photo-taking holiday...
Through Saturday, July 11, Walgreens is offering 10-cent prints when you use the coupon code JULY4.
Rocky Top Hospitality is offering BOGO entrees this weekend at its restaurants, which include Michael Dean's, Bogarts, Hi5, Red Room and the Twisted Fork. As with most BOGOs, the cheaper of the two items will be free.
The promotion is good today through Sunday. You will need the coupon below. That's a good deal, but do be aware of the fine print: "18% gratuity added to pre-discount total."
The area's four Snoopy's Hot Dogs & More stores are holding a weekly promotion called Wild Wednesdays, and it's a good one... From 5 p.m. until closing time, at all four stores, everything you order on Wednesdays is half off. The only exception is the combo specials, which already come at a pretty good discounted price.
Owner Steve Webb said he's not sure how long the promotion will run but that it should be for a couple of months. The chain dates back to 1978 here in Raleigh. The original store (in case you were wondering) is the one off of Whitaker Mill Road.
From July 1 through July 4, Shoe Carnival shoppers will receive a "BOGO when you want 2" card that allows them to select one pair of shoes and get a second one of equal or lesser value at half off any time they want through Jan. 19, 2010.
You do have to make a purchase to get the card. But you get one with any purchase. Seems like a good way to make your own sale, especially if you are picky about shoes.
If you need to hold a business meeting but don't have a place to host it, try the Alta Walk retirement community in Durham.
The retirement community at 5705 Fayetteville Road is brand new and Marketing Director Laura Martin said she's trying to spread the word by offering up the community's four meeting rooms, which have capacity for as many as 150 people.
Space can be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week. Reserve a spot by calling Laura at 919-401-0100.
Thanks to Brenda for pointing me to this photo deal:
Through Monday, York photo is offering 6-cent photo prints. There are also a couple of other promotional offers that have longer expiration dates.
You can find them here...
Starbucks continues its big push to reclaim coffee-drinkers, but this time there's a real deal for people who like to enjoy Starbucks products at home.
Starbucks is promoting its Starbucks at Home service, where you can sign up for delivery of your favorite tea and coffee and your orders are automatically sent on preselected dates so that you never run out. (This would be really good for those who are forgetful...) Sign up now and your third shipment is on Starbucks. You can find the details on that here... Offer ends July 31.
There are also a couple of other Starbucks related offers available here (you have to scroll down to the middle of the page).
Through Friday, CVS.com is offering a crazy 20 percent off everything promotion. There are a couple of brand names and product lines that don't qualify, and you can't use that promotion for prescription drugs. But other than that, pretty much anything goes.
And, orders of $49 or more get free shipping.
Office Depot has a series of summertime deals that give you a little more for making certain purchases. For instance, buy two HP toner cartridges or one multipack and get a free pack of Sharpie markers and one ream of HP paper.
You can find all the deals here...
