A way to get Dannon coupons...

Dannon is running a special promotion where you can get coupons simply by buying Dannon products.

If you happen to like Dannon, this is a great way to get a little more for a purchase you already make!

Check out this Web site, which the company is calling Dannonomics. Buy $15 in Dannon products and get $3 in coupons. Buy $20 worth and get $6 in coupons. Or, buy $40 worth and get $15 in coupons. The purchase window is Aug. 10 through Oct. 31, so you may have already qualified! And remember, there were Dannon coupons two weekends ago on Oct. 4!

Sign up for coupon class: Nov. 21!

For those of you who missed my coupon class in June, here's your second chance.

We are now accepting registration for our next class, which will take place at Meredith College in Raleigh on Saturday, Nov. 21.

The class will run 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and will feature both me and Faye Prosser, author of "The Smart Spending Guide." We will cover topics from using coupons to saving with rebates to meal planning.

The cost for the class is $10 for N&O subscribers when you register on or before Nov. 4. Right now, registration is open only for subscribers.

After Nov. 4, the cost is $15 and nonsubscribers can sign up. If you have a group of 15 people or more, it's $10 a person.

Visit www.newsobserver.com/zone for all the details. But don't dally. The cutoff for registration is Nov. 18, and no late registration or walk-ins will be allowed.
