In response to numerous requests, I am going to start tracking the prescription transfer coupons issued in this market. I will catalog the prescription transfer coupons offered by stores in the Sunday paper or other widely distributed advertisements. It won't be fancy like the coupon database. But it will get the job done.

I will post the actual coupon list in my next post and create a permanent link to it under "other topics of interest" in the left-hand rail of this page. You will always be able to click on that link and see which stores have offered prescription transfer coupons recently.

But, I figured that if I was going to start tracking those coupons, I should post a discussion about how to use them. Click Read More to read all about it.

This past Sunday's coupons have been added to the database. Sorry for the delay, everyone.

In addition to the Smart Source and Red Plum inserts, some areas got an additional one-page flier with some Gillette coupons and a small flier/insert from Kroger with some additional coupons (that one was printed on glossy paper and was larger than a "regular" coupon insert). There were also a few in my Parade magazine. So if your Sunday paper is in the recycle bin, you may want to check those additional places. Remember that not all areas get all of those smaller inserts.

Also, just thought I'd mention that there are something like 200 coupons expiring today. Especially for the $1+ ones, the final day of Super Doubles at Harris Teeter might be a fine way to use them before they expire.

I am not in town today and am therefore unable to update the coupon database.

But there should be a Smart Source and a Red Plum insert in your paper this morning.

I will update the database and post the updated Excel spreadsheet as soon as I can.

This is the last weekend to use the more than 200 coupons that expire by the end of the month. With Harris Teeter's Super Doubles, there could be some good chances for savings before those expire. Take a chance to look through your stash and see if there are any you want to use!
