Oops! One of Gov. Bev Perdue's final appointments last week was naming a well-connected New Bern man to the state Coastal Resources Commission.
Unfortunately, two other commissioners already live in Craven County, and the commission's rules prohibit more than two members coming from the same county.
Her choice of William Naumann, a former yachting company executive, has sent the commission staff scrambling.
