Gov. Pat McCrory spoke at two Martin Luther King observances over the weekend.
On Friday, he spoke to a state employee observance at a downtown Raleigh church where, he said, like Dr. King, “let's also seek solutions because there are very complex issues that we have to solve together and we will do it together.''
Monday morning, McCrory attended the 33rd Annual Martin Luther King Holiday Interfaith Prayer Breakfast held at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel and Convention Center in Durham.He also signed a proclamation declaring Monday as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day in North Carolina urging all citizens to honor King through service to their communities.
