Paul Meyer has been appointed director of governmental affairs at the North Carolina League of Municipalities.
Meyer succeeds Kelli Kukura, who recently resigned to become state government affairs director for Duke Energy. Meyer had served the league's chief legal counsel since 2009 and before that worked for the N.C. Association of County Commissioners.
