Congressional offices have stayed busy fielding requests from North Carolinians who want to attend inauguration ceremonies being held in Washington for President Barack Obama, particularly the swearing-in ceremony on Jan. 21, 2013, which will kick off his second term in office.
Through the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies, Congress arranges the celebration and divvies out tickets to make sure people from all over the country up close on the National Mall during the event.
