This weekend, around the clock, 8pm Friday to 6am Monday: Weather permitting, Lane works in the WESTBOUND lanes from a point just west of Fayetteville Road (Exit 276, Streets at Southpoint) to NC 54 (Exit 273, Chapel Hill).

Thurs 6/14: Eastbound lanes near NC 54 tonight; westbound traffic gets hit this weekend

Tonight: Lane Construction Corp. isn't quite ready, after all, to shift its pavement repair caravan into the westbound lanes of I-40 in southern Durham County.

Tonight: Maybe DOT and Lane Construction Corp. will continue pavement repairs on eastbound I-40 in Durham County. Rain slowed their work this weekend, and there's still a stretch of eastbound I-40 between Fayetteville Road and NC 55 where bad concrete must be replaced with fresh asphalt.

Fri 6/8 - Sun 6/10: Eastbound I-40 slowed all weekend near NC 55 and NC 147; westbound next week

This weekend: Lane plans round-the-clock, day-and-night work between NC 55 and NC 147 (Durham Freeway), all in the eastbound lanes, from Friday night until early Monday.

Tonight: Lane Construction Corp. picks up where it stopped during a surprise thunderstorm Tuesday night -- you can see the last rough spots that didn't get paved as smoothly as most of this new asphalt is -- on eastbound I-40 between NC 751 (Exit 274) and Fayetteville Road (Exit 276).
