This week: Lane Construction Corp. continues pavement repair work, weather permitting, in WESTBOUND lanes and on the WESTBOUND on-off ramps at some interchanges on I-40 in Durham County. When work includes the on and off ramps, the interchange is closed all night for westbound traffic.

This weekend: Weather permitting, another marathon weekend of round-the-clock work and traffic delays, with WESTBOUND I-40 reduced to one lane between NC 54 (Exit 273, Chapel Hill) and US 15-501 (Exit 270, west Durham and Chapel Hill) from 8pm Friday to 6am Monday.
