So we had our first dance lesson last night, at the church. We were taught the rudiments of Swing dancing and a little Merengue. I had difficulty turning Katherine in the Swing formation without hittting her on the head. We have several more lessons, and our instructor says I will get better.
I am not so sure. Where is Kevin Bacon when you really need him?
Dance lessons start this week, I think. Somehow I have it in my head that it's Thursday. One of my household will let me know.
Hil and Travis made a second offer on another house. Which wasn't accepted. They are running into the phenomenon called "I know what my house is worth and I won't let facts get in the way."
I think they are in the final stages on the flowers.
If I sound vague, work has me busy.
Here are some misadventures at weddings.
A Cary woman, Julia Sirkova, was looking at a wedding planning web site in March when she registered at OurWeddingDay.com. Julia became the 100,000th bride to do so, according to the site, and here's what she won: A honeymoon worth $1,500, a wedding gown, free wedding photography and a few other goodies. Ms. Sirkova is engaged to Hakeem Smith.
According to the press release, they met through mutual friends and got engaged in her home town of Bardejov, Slovak Republic. They will be getting married next month at Topsail Beach. You can see pictures of them here.
