Of course they're getting started now

It takes a lot of time to figure out who among your donors and personal business interests stand to profit the most from the bills you plan to introduce... how best to introduce them so no one notices... and how to perfect your parlimentary maneuvers and stealth tactics to block any and all opposition to your conflict-of-interest ridden legislation.

You think it's easy selling off our state government piece by piece to the private sector? That takes planning and time.

A taste of things to come

Apparantely the N&O is so close to the end those reporters who are left (i.e. those that can't get a job with AP or the National Enquiror) have resorted to cutting and pasting from the General Assembly's website to fill their quota of muckraking, inuendo and scandal.
