A new Rasmussen poll gives Pat McCrory a comfortable double-digit lead in the governor's race.
The Republican nominee boasts a 49 percent advantage to Democrat Walter Dalton's 35 percent. Another 4 percent preferred another candidate and 12 percent were undecided, according to the survey released Wednesday.
The poll of likely voters was conducted Monday. The margin of error is plus-or-minus 4.5 percent. A recent survey from Public Policy Polling, a Democratic firm, gave McCrory a smaller, seven-point lead.

June 27, 2012 - 4:49pm — WilmingtonDemocratFunny, when Mayor McCrory stepped down as Mayor of Charlotte, unemployment and the city's debt had doubled under his tenure. The unemployment rate would have been even worse had President Bush not been handing out $750 billion in cash to the investment bankers at Bank American and Wachovia.
Time for a change in Governor's mansion
June 27, 2012 - 1:04pm — concerned53People are tired of the democrat machine in NC. Hopefully, McCrory can help lead NC out of the big hole that the democrats have dug over the past 20 years and back to greatness. One step at a time, however.
