AFL-CIO begins campaign to defeat Mitt Romney in North Carolina

North Carolina union officials are distributing a video ridiculing Republican Mitt Romney as "Mr. 1%." It's part of the national AFL-CIO efforts to defeat the presumptive Republican nominee, dubbed Labor 2012.

The video -- which features clips of a bumbling Romney and then working folks talking about how his policies would hurt them -- will be shown at labor council meetings across the state and distributed on DVD to local unions.

“There’s only one candidate for president who values work and condemns greed,” said Mark Case, President of the Western North Carolina CLC, in a statement made after a recent screening in Asheville.  “As ‘Meet Mr. 1%’ makes clear, his name is not Mitt Romney.”

Whether the campaign will move the needle is another question. North Carolina has the lowest rate of union membership in the nation at 3 percent.

The first kneecapping will be .....

So when will the thugs start the kneecapping?  Are they bringing their own tire irons and sledge hammers or are they buying those locally?

Since NC is a right to work state we should assume they will bring their "persuaders" with them.
