Inspire what? A cult of his own personality? Coach K, you inspire people to believe in themselves, to work hard to continually improve themselves and to understand that God has a plan for them. Is our president doing this or is trying to inspire them to believe in him.

To have government sanctioned prayer asking god to intercede in a game like this. I guess the big guy upstairs must not be a Michigan State fan. If this is the kind of stuff god is busy with these days, it's no wonder the world is such a miserable mess.

Where is the media outrage about our new Governor flying the tax payer funded jet to a basketball game (as well as 90 miles to Camp Lejeune) while teachers are being laid off and bank executives are being demonized for flying their jets to congressional hearings (both are accepting federal bailouts). The Governor could have taken US Airways or watched it on TV like the rest of us.

Is this a double standard? Perhaps she likes the trappings of power despite what is happening around her.

4 billion dollar budget short fall,10% unemployment,crumbling road system,poor education,state heath plan,what will happen when the stimulus money runs out????? and she is betting on the basketball game. It is know wonder this state and country are in this terrible condition.

asking why the Dean Dome requires a
yearly 1.3 million dollar taxpayer
subsidy to stay open.
