WHY would a nice 28 year old guy want to 'direct' the most corrupt state party of corruption in America? WHAT will he DO to clean it up? WILL the 'crackkks allow cleansing? Time to remove this "Culture of Corruption" from Raleigh. I believe a clean slate of fiscal conservatives can find enough pork to eliminate the need to cut Trooper/Teacher pay. With 2 or 3 more pending indictments and our electorate may finally see the light.

Who cares.Another group of libs.All the NC dems have done is made us one of the highest taxed states in the country,huge budget deficits,corruption from top to bottom and out of control unemployment and low wages-
Sounds like a real track record there-If the media and N&O hadn't been in bed with them for the past 70 years we might of had decent government.

Mr. Shuler could arrange for the WNC tour to be held at the Biltmore Baptist Church in S. Asheville. (If its good enough for Bill Clinton who visited earlier this year...) Not sure if their members are required to be 'born again' but probably encouraged.

The Shuler / Burr suggestion is surprising, but its a thought, albeit a
troubling one.

If the Obama campaign does an "evangelical tour," I hope they will bring the Rev. Jerimiah Wright along. I think he would really appeal to the evangelicals down here in NC.

Seems like a risky thing for Shuler to do. Despite the claims these past few days, Obama has no chance in NC and could only stain Shuler, who I'm sure the Dems are ready to sic on Richard Burr in 2010.

Alright, let the media bias grumbling begin.

Last week was the week of not so flattering stories regarding who McCrory raised money from. Then this entire weekend the top post was an instapundit saying McCrory is going to lose.

We are going to see a thorough examination of Perdue this week, right?

How much money did she get from high ranking state employees, how much money did she get from political appointees eager to keep their influence, has she improved on her abysmal reporting of occupations and other information for her donors, and why did she get so much more money from the special interest PACs than McCrory?

Here's hoping Dome gives her the vetting the public deserves.

I can't tell what he means by "envirojacker," even with the context. It seems to fit polluters, ie those who dump large amounts of toxins into the (shared) environment, but I'm sure he's actually trying to smear the good people who oppose polluters.
