Sorry, Ben. I had my sarcasm meter set on "Overly Sensitive". I've since changed it to "Some Things Could Fly Right Over Your Head", which is actually better from a stress standpoint.

There's actually another correction to your story that should be made. If you look at the Crosstabs for this poll question, you'll see that Governor Perdue's "Favorable" rating is actually 37%, but when Civitas wrote their press release, they dropped it down to 36%.

Which I'm sure was just an innocent mistake...

See, since I turned down my sarcasm meter, that sentence looks just fine. ;)

I think that there should be an update, because it can lead to people like Gosh taking that statement the wrong way and attacking people later on.

I know that increasing taxes in a recession is a poor economic decision.

I know that I read the post that you provided attacking CO and see that you have a poor reading comprehension skills - similiar to the education provided by the likes of those that show up at Perdue rallies or the teachers in NY that are forced to "take breaks."

I am not CO, although I do know him personally.

Plus CO was right, Obama promised no lobbyist and then has lobbyist = flip flop or a LIE...

The Bush Administration only passed TARP 1 - not the Stimulus Package, Omnibus Appropriation Act of 2009, and TARP 2.

So since the markets started crashing we have had 4 government injections of capital into the markets. One on the watch of Bush and three on the watch of Obama.

Thus, it is fair to say that 75% of the "bailouts" are Obama's and CO use of the Buffett quote shows that it is not helping. PS> Buffett is an Obama supporter....

Plus, Gosh you seem fairly political saavy, so you know just as well as I know that the President only executes legislation, thus to blame the economic downturn fully on Bush is unfair and incorrect. Obama was US Senator and the Democrats had control since 2006.

I will not justify the actions' of the Bush Administration as I fault them for a large expansion of government. Nevertheless, people voted for change and not a continuation of that expansion of government.

Question:
Is the Obama Administration expanding the federal government?

Maybe North Carolina Gov. Beverly Perdue should consider joining South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford in Argentina.

I think it is irresponsible for the News & Observer to suggest that our Governor head to an "exotic" country to have an affair.

please support your claims. Most of them, according to CO's research appear to be false and I, with my own research, agree with CO.

Do you know what "most" means any more than CO understands what "$200,000 a year" looks like?

He said lobbyists still exist and the US economy is still in shambles after Bush.

Duh.

Is the point we should re-elect Bush? Want his first 100 days to compare?

And for the record, I don't buy your sudden appearance on behalf of this fine upstanding young, and sometimes old poster any more than I do lesjustthink or any of the other names CO registered after being caught in a lie.

It seems I am not the only one on here that understands the degrading efforts of Gosh to quell the facts that are contrary to the liberal agenda.
