Re: What Perdue has signed so far

I wish the media would take Purdue's picture out of the newspaper. There is not one thing about her that is real - her hair is bleached and her smile is fake and cheezy. She smiles everytime she takes money away from a group of people, knowing it will only hurt their lives. (She does not have brain enough to know she only hurts the state more by doing that.) But then what can you expect from someone who goes merrily on her way spending out the wahzoo needlessly. She is a female Nero watching Rome's counterpart, North Carolina, burn.

14 bills signed not 37

"* S.B. 90: Confirms appointments of Susan Rabon and Bryan Beatty to the N.C. Utilities Commission."

SB90 (actually SJR90) did not go to the Governor as resolutions do not require gubernatorial signature.

Local bills also do not go to the Governor.

The Governor actually has signed 14 bills, not 37. You listed the 14 in your post.

No, all Pat had to do was build a time machine, not campaign with George Bush, not call all African Americans "gangsters," move away from Charlotte, and register as a Democrat.

Then he would have won. Hands down.

All Pat had to do was spend 3 mil running mug shot photos of all the Dem's headed to state and fed prisons during the ex Gov. Easy years. Run them week after week before the election. He made the link that it was and had happened, but the pure visual impact along with names would have sealed the deal. Next time, I'm sure the perp walks aren't finished yet.

Yep - Issac136 and Bev have a lot of friends - even all the way over here in Asheville. And congratulations, Bev - on behalf of the Buncombe County majority who helped get you elected AND turn N.C. blue!

Well Issac136 .... I definitely trust you more than I do The N&O on such matters. ..... ....."Governor Dumpling spoke to an audience of Issac136 and a whole room full of his friends ...."

Well, Basnight wasn't there, but I was, and while I didn't count heads, the whole danged convention center was chock full.

"Speaking to thousands ....." Knowing the N&O's well-documented bias in counting partisan crowd attendance ..... can we assume Dumpling's actual audience was Basnight, Rand, Rob Christensen, Linda Williams, Steve Ford and a homeless guy named Zeppo?

Maybe Junior has a few jars of that moonshine he used to haul laying around
that he has been sipping on or maybe old age has dulled his better judgement like it has Andy Griffths.

Moonshiner Junior Johnson thinks Obama will protect second amendment rights? I have I been sleeping? I haven't heard Obama mention that in his platform. Junior Johnson's endorsement of Obama does about as much good as his endorsement of Roy Carter, NOTHING.

Gordon Liddy

In 1998, Liddy's home was the site of a McCain fundraiser. Over the years, he has made at least four contributions totaling $5,000 to the senator's campaigns--including $1,000 this year.

Last November, McCain went on his radio show. Liddy greeted him as "an old friend," and McCain sounded like one. "I'm proud of you, I'm proud of your family," he gushed. "It's always a pleasure for me to come on your program, Gordon, and congratulations on your continued success and adherence to the principles and philosophies that keep our nation great."

So much time is spent talking of william Ayers when Obama was 8 years old, how about McCain just this year?

From McCains book regarding did he put Country First in his 2000 election.

He admitted his answer was NO and gave the reason below.
"I didn't decide to run for president to start a national crusade for the political reforms I believed in or to run a campaign as if it were some grand act of patriotism. In truth, I wanted to become president because it had become my ambition to be president. I was 62 years old when I made the decision, and I thought it was my one shot at the prize...
In truth, I'd had the ambition for a long time... it had been there, in the back of my mind, for years, as if it were simply a symptom of my natural restlessness."

If he admits to being desperate back in 2000, no wonder he is so desperate now that he must lie so much.
