I wonder what's happening while the public is continuously diverted to thinking about these kinds of subjects by the press. It's like bad soap opera we can't turn off. What were we thinking about all the years when Republicans were holding Congressional tea parties dumping the Glass-Stegall Act of 1933 "getting rid of big govt." (government oversignt of investment houses and banking) during the presidency of Ronald Reagan and beyond, when a series of acts of Congress culminating with the passage of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act in 1999 at which time Republican sponsors, Treasury officials, Hank Greenberg of AIG and others, held the grandest old tea party of all, toasting to the inscription on a cake reading "50 years of Glass-Stegall R.I.P.", thus enabling GROPE (the Greatest Robbery of the People Ever) to be set in motion as $$$,$$$,$$$,$$$$s of good life frosting we'd grown accustomed to be skimmed off by the robber barons of investment houses, Texas builders via inflated housing sucking upfront mortgage money out of lenders, no bid contracts to preferred companies in Iraq, etc., leaving the people eating stale cake crumbs.

The boogeyman for conservatives comes everyday, and his name is newspapers, tv, college, cable, movies, neighbors, church, people outside, the MAJORITY...

Thank Gawd real conservatives that keep their genes in the family don't have Internet access, but have sturdy basements to protect their black boxes to talk to God.

I just made up a word. Tardation!

Take a bath in it Paul Terrall. Mmmmmmm.

Tard....dation.

Don't worry Democratic voter Ben Niolet, at UNC only boogeymen for liberals get the brick-through-the-window treatment.

Ha. Ha. Ha.

Threatening reporters is funny.

So does Art Pope teach this school of commentary in the traditional 4 years, or 2.5 like most Internet degrees?

This is a really good time to associate with NCSU and things that are created by governors, but paid for by taxpayers. An author who's all about mind and brains is talking to a think tank - it just sounds so intelligent.

I didn't agree with many of Clinton's policies, but some of these comments are nonsense. What the President did was commendable and these kids will remember it forever.

Kind of complements the NC State Democrat crooks : Ex -Gov Easley, Mary, NCSU hacks on the verge of being fired.

Don't we just love the cult of personality.
