Even if the numbers are off a little, the real point is that the stimulus package saved a bunch of jobs, probably close to 22,000--or 20,000 or 23,000--it doesn't really matter exactly.

This is good news and probably caused North Carolina to have less unemployment, say from 12% to 11%. This is not "crap" as one writer has indicated, nor is it wrong for DOE to put out statistics on jobs related to education.

These government haters cannot see the forest for the trees.

Could you tell how many fell into the saved category and how many fell into the created category? I mean if you know that exactly 22,398 jobs were created you should be able to separate the saved from the created, right?

This looks like a load of C_R_A_P, dumped to try and obscure the fact we've got an 11% unemployment rate here in NC.

The stimulus is working. Senator Burr just said so.

Unlike Bush's Wall Street Bailout Burr had to send Brooke to empty the ATM's after supporting.

So to recap Burr's latest position.

Bush's Wallstreet Bailout he supported... bad. Obama's Main Street Stimulus he opposed... "a great thing for this country!"
